How it works
1. Each scanner surveys the relevant market looking for strengths and weaknesses in Trend, Momentum or Volume
2. They display the underlying strength or weakness as a series of dots with up to 10 green dots showing strength and up to 10 red dots showing weakness
3. If a dot is missing this is a sign of market neutrality
4. All scanners have a sensitivity setting alongside an additional strength/weakness filter which can be adjusted according to your style of trading and the underlying instrument
5. The background can be set to color-fill when the majority of dots are coloured either red or green, with higher values denoting greater strength or greater weakness
6. Alerts can be configured in the same way as the background to provide both entry and exit signals

Even though, as the name suggests, we have a background in forex, our scanners have been optimized to work on Stock Indices, Forex majors and minors, Gold & Silver majors and crosses plus all large cap Crypto currencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano and Ripple. All scanners can be used on any timeframe from the M1, M2 or M5 all the way up to the daily or weekly. So whether you're an intraday scalper or long-term swing trader, it's ultimately up to you and your preferred style of trading.
Yes, you can use our scanners with a free TradingView account however keep in mind that free accounts only allow up to three indicators on a chart at any time, also alerts are limited. If you would like to add more indicators or alerts simply upgrade to a Pro or Premium account.
Like anything in life, our scanners aren't always going to give you a perfect trade every time. Certain instruments may buck the overall trend, working against the broader market; other trends may start and reverse quickly. Although our scanners do their best to curb the effects of these scenarios you should always be prepared for any eventuality by using correct risk management and stop losses at all times.
Our scanners track live market data, therefore whilst the current candle is painting the scanner will be reacting to this and will therefore be changing as the market ebbs and flows. Once a candle has finished painting our scanners will never repaint a historical value.
Absolutely. The US Market Scanner Pro works perfectly for options and futures. If you trade the ES, SPX or SPY, simply choose the S&P500 option, likewise if you trade the NQ or QQQ choose the NAS100. Our Gold & Silver and Crypto scanners can also be used to trade the relevant future or ETF.
As we use multiple data points within our algorithms, some of these rely on realtime market data; this data is only available during pre-market, market and after hours trading. Therefore US indices (NAS and S&P) are available from 0400-2000 EST and European (DAX and FTSE) from 0900-1730 CET. Kindly note some of the pre and post-market data can be less reliable than market hours data therefore it's advisable to use best judgement during these hours.

Once you've completed sign up it can take anything from a few minutes to a few hours before you can view our scanners in TradingView. You will receive an email confirmation once they've been added to your account, kindly check your spam folder in case the email has gone astray.
On the TradingView platform, select 'Indicators', then under 'Invite-only scripts' you will find the scanners you've subscribed to: Market Scanner Pro (1x Euro + 1x US indicator), Forex Scanner Pro (2x indicators), Gold & Silver Scanner Pro (1x indicator) and/or Crypto Scanner Pro (1x indicator).
Sure thing. If you want to change from say the Forex or Gold & Silver Scanner to the Market or Crypto Scanner, simply contact us, enter the email you used to subscribe plus your TradingView username and we'll make the switch for you. This can take up to 24h Mon-Fri but is often a lot quicker.
If you would like to upgrade, downgrade, change billing period or cancel your package, simply login to your dashboard and navigate to Plans > Current Plan. If you haven't already set a password, submit the email address you used to sign up, we'll then send you a six-digit code which you can use to login.
As we allow all traders a free 7-day trial period to try our products, we do not offer refunds beyond this timeframe. Should you not wish to continue your subscription beyond the trial period, simply login to your dashboard, navigate to Plans > Current Plan and click 'Cancel Subscription'.
Our scanners feature a series of dots which form beneath each candle. It's possible to choose the number required to highlight the background i.e. 7 out of 10. Once the threshold is met, an alert will trigger. TradingView alerts can trigger in a variety of ways from mobile alerts through to pop-up desktop alerts, more info can be found on TradingView here.
Alerts can be set-up to trigger with varying sensitivity based on the level you choose - the lower the setting the more alerts you will receive. Lower settings can get you into a trade earlier but may result in more false signals being generated. We therefore advise not to blindly follow alerts but rather use them in addition to your regular trading methodologies.
